Frequently asked questions

Does buying property automatically give me residency?

No. Your investment must fit one of the program categories and be certified by the MIC. Only then can you apply for residency with the Immigration Office.

Can I include my family in the same application?

According to published information, applications are individual. Family members can apply for their own residency; we advise you on the best way to do it for your case.

Can two partners use the same investment?

Each residency requires its own minimum investment. If two people want to qualify, the documented investment must cover the minimum for each of them.

How is this different from regular residency?

The usual route is temporary residency first and permanent residency after two years. With the Investor Pass you get permanent residency directly. Learn more about Residency in Paraguay.
